A 500 percent kickstart pulse lasting 0.4 to 2 seconds is available to break high-inertia loads free. The practical effect is that belts stop slipping, gearboxes stop hammering, couplings last longer, and upstream breakers stop nuisance-tripping on start.Pump control built into the base unit: This is the B-option variant, so the Allen-Bradley 150-A135NBDB-A​ ships with the pump control algorithm already resident. Stretching the stop ramp across 2 to 120 seconds lets the motor decelerate gradually, which is the standard remedy for water hammer in long discharge mains — the pressure transient responsible for burst pipework, damaged valve seats and destroyed pump seals.
