The Foxboro P0500RU is a redundant,hot-swappable power supply module designed for the Foxboro I/A Series®distributed control system(DCS)—a flagship process automation platform now part of Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure™Foxboro DCS portfolio.This module delivers a stable 24 V DC output at up to 10 A continuous current,supporting critical components such as Fieldbus Modules(FBMs),controller processors(CPs),I/O carriers,and operator workstations within I/A Series racks.
Engineered for mission-critical environments,the P0500RU operates in N+1 redundant configurations:multiple units share the load,and if one fails,the others seamlessly assume full capacity without interrupting system operation.It accepts a wide 85–264 V AC universal input(47–63 Hz),includes over-voltage,over-current,and short-circuit protection,and features front-panel LEDs for real-time status monitoring(AC OK,DC OK,Fault,Redundancy Active).
