The Allen-Bradley 1784-CF64​ is a 64 MB industrial-grade CompactFlash (CF) Type I memory card specifically designed for use with Rockwell Automation’s ControlLogix 1756 series programmable automation controllers—most notably the 1756-L6x (Logix5561 through Logix5565) processor family. It plugs directly into the dedicated CompactFlash slot on the front face of supported ControlLogix CPUs, providing non-volatile solid-state storage for archived logic projects, trend and datalog files, recipe/setpoint tables, security keys, and automatic project restore upon controller replacement. The Allen-Bradley 1784-CF64​ is pre-formatted by the factory in an IDE/True-IDE mode compatible with the ControlLogix operating system and is automatically recognized when inserted into a running or powered-down processor (with subsequent reboot if hot-inserted per revision notes).
