The Allen-Bradley 800F-X10​ is a back-of-panel contact block for the Bulletin 800F 22 mm operator family, configured as a single normally open contact with screw terminations and supplied without a latch. Physically it is a small plastic-bodied module that latches onto the rear of a 22.5 mm push button, selector switch or pilot light operator, and electrically it is the component that converts the mechanical travel of that operator into a switching action in the control circuit. Rockwell’s full catalogue description reads “22.5mm PB No Latch, Screw Contact Block, 1 N.O.,” which states the three attributes that actually govern selection.The modularity is the point of the design. Operators and contact blocks are ordered separately in the 800F system, so the 800F-X10​ lets a panel builder pair any operator head with exactly the contact arrangement a circuit needs, then stack additional blocks for more circuits. A single start push button, for example, might carry one 800F-X10​ for the seal-in contact into the PLC input and a second block for a panel indication circuit, all in the same 22.5 mm panel opening.Ratings are generous for the size, and this is where the Allen-Bradley 800F-X10​ justifies specifying an original part over a generic. It carries a 10 A thermal current rating, a maximum operational voltage of 600 V under A600 / Q600 utilisation categories, a 690 V rated insulation voltage and a 4 kV impulse withstand. The contacts are gold-plated silver nickel, which is what allows the block to work reliably in both conventional 120 V control circuits and low-voltage PLC input circuits where a plain silver contact would be marginal.One ordering detail deserves emphasis because it causes real frustration: the Allen-Bradley 800F-X10​ is sold only in multiples of ten.
